how to Select

Look for firm apples with a rich color. They should have a smooth skin that is free of bruises. Green apples are the best variety to use for cooking.

how to pRepaRe

Cut the apple in half through the core. Cut both halves in half again. Remove the core from each half. Slice into thin slices.

how to StoRe

If your apples will be eaten within two days of being purchased, they can be stored at room temperature. Otherwise, store the fruit in a perforated bag in their own compartment in the refrigerator.
